Glyn Owen – President
Having over sixteen years of experience in installations of
colored and textured surfacing treatments in the United States and
the United Kingdom, Glyn Owen is widely acknowledged as the world’s
leading expert on synthetic asphalt and one of the most
knowledgeable on the installation of high-friction surfacing.
Since 1994, when the introduction and development of this "traffic
calming" concept began in Europe, Glyn has been immersed in the
creation and installation of hot applied poly modified synthetic
asphalt (decorative pavement surfacing) all over the world. In 2002,
Glyn relocated to America to introduce colored and textured
surfacing on crosswalks, sidewalks, dangerous curves and
intersection approaches to the US market. As a result, these
surfacing treatments are leading products in the industry and are
applied through a network of installers.
Glyn Owen’s direction of extensive research and development of these
systems is being recognized as the finest in the US market today. He
