Hard-Wearing, Low-Maintenance, Quick Installation, & Cost-Effective!
TrafficPrint is the premier choice in decorative pavement solutions. It is a hot-applied, thermoplastic-based surfacing material that replicates the look of decorative brick pavers. The material is colored throughout, resulting in a product that retains its pattern and resists fading even after years of exposure to nature’s elements and high traffic. TrafficPrint maintains its fresh appearance, helping eliminate the need for costly and bothersome repairs.
Ideal for use on crosswalks, sidewalks, intersections and roundabouts
Designed for high traffic volumes (60,000+ vehicles daily)
High resistance to cracking and softening
Quick Installations (work sites can open less than an hour after installation)
Wide variety of colors, patterns and paving combinations
Withstands snowplows and de-icing salts
Paving options which meet ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) approvals
Products are safe for the environment

Press play to watch our installation process!
Traffic Calming USA is dedicated to offering a variety of paving options which are ADA sensitive. We’ve incorporated a new design using TrafficPrint to accommodate individuals with disabilities. Traditionally, once TrafficPrint is poured onto the ground the entire surface is printed with the mold of choice. Our customers now have the option to simply print the edges of the material, leaving the middle part without a pattern. This creates an area that is level and smooth and easily accessible for the handicapped. See below for pictures demonstrating this effect.
TrafficPrint Specs
TrafficPrint is a hot-applied stamped synthetic pavement material which is used to replicate brick paving and is suitable for use in crosswalks, intersections, roads, and sidewalks. The system consists of resins, stones, sands, and fibers which are incorporated together. The result is a dry, powder-based material which is then heated in special heating equipment.
Materials
A neutral color in a dry, powder-based material supplied in 50lb meltable bags consisting of resin, graded stones and sands with fi bers for reinforcement. Material is heated between 400° and 440° Fahrenheit in a specialized kettle until molten whereupon the semi liquid material is placed on to the surface. Color is added so that ‘through color’ is achieved and over time the color does not wear off the surface.
Construction Details
TrafficPrint can be installed onto either asphalt or concrete. If installed onto asphalt then it is suggested that the surface be compacted by traffi c and the asphalt oils be dispersed to avoid transmission onto the TrafficPrint surface. We suggest 1 to 7 days depending upon traffi c volumes to allow this. Concrete should be allowed to cure properly before the placing of TrafficPrint.
TrafficPrint is installed at a thickness of 5/8" to 1" and is colored throughout its full thickness. TrafficPrint can be installed either directly on top of the pavement or inlaid into the pavement surface. If TrafficPrint is laid directly on top of the pavement surface then a key way of between 4" and 10" wide and 1" deep is cut at all exposed edges to ensure smooth transition from pavement to TrafficPrint and to ensure product performance. If inlaid then the surface shall be milled 5/8" to 1" deep and the TrafficPrint material installed in the recess to provide a flush finish. continued in next column Whilst the material is still molten a specially designed stamp is placed into the material to form a pattern. Typical patterns include Brick, 90° Herringbone, 45° Herringbone, Cobble, and Basketweave. Others are available upon request.
TrafficPrint can be installed at temperatures above 32° F but cannot be installed in wet conditions. If the surface is wet and recipitation has stopped then the surface can be dried with propane before TrafficPrint is installed. The product can be opened to traffic when it has become cool and hard which is between 30 minutes when the weather is below 60° ambient temperature and one hour when the weather is hot. TrafficPrint has a high skid resistance value of over 60 and has excellent resistance to cracking and rutting.
